I Became a Dad!

I Became a Dad!

We'll keep this one short.

On August 3rd we became parents!

Please welcome Maeve Maren to the world everyone.

We love her oh so much and everyone is doing well. Mom is absolutely crushing it.

Are we getting less sleep then we're used to? Absolutely. Do we love her oh so much? Absolutely.

In other news, I created a new (additional) blog: Millennial Girl Dad.

I created it as a way to capture my learnings as I navigate this brand new role. I will share my many mistakes and what I learn along the way.

If you or someone you know might enjoy my exploration of aiming to become the best dad I can be, please encourage them to check out Millennial Girl Dad.

I'll plan to occasionally post here as well.

For now, if you wish to check out any of the first three Millennial Girl Dad posts I've written so far, see them below:

I commit to being the best dad I can be. I will never be perfect, I will make oh so many mistakes, but let me tell you, I’m committed to giving it my all.
Your Identity as a Dad
James Clear defines identity as “repeated beingness.” Who are you committed to repeatedly being as a dad?
You Need to Win
In the most difficult of moments, you need to set the tone and energy for your newborn. They’re looking to you for how to settle.
