Well If You Didn't Do it During the Pandemic...
Lockdown was not your only chance to do that thing you always thought you would learn/try/do.
Didn't do that thing you thought you would during the pandemic?
Well, you can still do it now.
I've read or listened to a few articles where people that were already artists or writers shared their amusement for all the people who didn't write a book during the pandemic (even though they had said they wanted to write a book, if only they had the time).
At first glance I can see how they came to this conclusion, but with just a little more thought, it becomes evident why this didn't happen...many aspects of daily living during the pandemic were hard or different enough for most people, so, adding in the extremely difficult task of writing a book (or learning to play guitar, etc.) just wasn't going to happen.
And that's okay.
But that doesn't mean it can't happen today or in the future.
Lockdown was not your only chance to do that thing you always thought you would learn/try/do.
If anything, I hope we all learned to appreciate just how difficult a journey may be ahead of us to actually do the things we daydream about.
That may not have been our time, but with the right levels of commitment, community, and consistency, we can all move towards doing that thing that scares us, that we'll need help with, and that we just know we can make happen.
You've got this.
