Here's to seeing what we're in control of, letting go of the bad we can't control, and creating good days as often as possible.

You Can't Make Me Have a Bad Day

I've had good days where everything has gone wrong and bad days where everything (or nearly everything) went right. What does that mean? Well it means that I'm in control of whether or not I have a good or bad day.

That's simultaneously empowering and frightening. Empowering because I have the ability to make each day a good day, frightening because I often allow what's outside my control to impact the type of day I have.

Here's to seeing what we're in control of, letting go of the bad we can't control, and creating good days as often as possible.

"Let no one rob me of a single day who is not going to make me an adequate return for such a loss." - Seneca
